On Line Appointment Booking and Repeat Prescriptions

To book an appointment or order a repeat prescription online, you will firstly need to login/register to use Patient Access.

If you are not already registered to use Patient Access, please note that once you have registered you will be required to bring photo ID into the Surgery before we can activiate this facility for you.

eConsult

Not sure whether to see a GP or not? Our new online service, eConsult, allows you to contact our doctors for advice regarding your problem, from the convenience of your computer in your own time.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, eConsult offers you immediate self-help advice, find out what other services can help you with or send us an online consultation. It may help you manage certain conditions, without the need to attend the surgery in person.

If the self-help advice isn't sufficient, your online web form, which is confidential, will be sent to your GP in a way that allows them to process it quickly and safely. We then contact you by the end of the next working day to offer you advice, tell you whether you need an appointment or offer you a prescription. Please note, if you have a medically urgent problem we recommend you contact the surgery straight away, ring NHS 111, or dial 999 in the case of an extreme emergency.

Access to your Medical Records Online

Being able to see your record online might help you to manage your medical conditions. It also means that you can even access it from anywhere in the world should you require medical treatment on holiday. If you decide not to join or wish to withdraw, this is your choice and practice staff will continue to treat you in the same way as before. This decision will not affect the quality of your care.

You will be given login details, so you will need to think of a password which is unique to you. This will ensure that only you are able to access your record - unless you choose to share your details with a family member or carer.

The information that you can access online includes

  • Appointments
  • Medications
  • Allergies
  • Immunisations
  • Problems
  • Consultations
  • Laboratory Test Results

If you would like to sign up for on-line access to your medical record, or if you already have access for appointments and medications, but do not yet have access to medical information, please download or read the information below before deciding to register.
